TIME FOR A MIND EXPERIMENT

inside this stadium there are four enormous crowds of people.
they are all believers in jehovah god and think of their religion as the truth exclusively.. group number one are all the people who read and believed the teachings of charles taze russell.. group number two are all the people who came along after judge rutherford became president of the society.. group number three are the jw's under nathan knorr up to the year 1975.. group number four are all the jehovah's witnesses post 1975 up to today.. .

Is there a 'third' way to leave?

My understanding of the Org's position is this - they despise "faders", because they can't be Scripturally ostracised - they're untouchable!!
Hence the statement, "he should be encouraged (co-erced, pressured) to put his request in writing and sign it. If he does not, then the witnesses to his request (whether they want to or not!) should prepare a statement for the confidential files and sign it."
Take the "5th" regarding a "meeting", and give personal mental health reasons for not doing so: e.g. "I've been suffering much angst and mild depression recently, and I really couldn't sit down and discuss all the stresses which I'm feeling right now. I would hope that this cloud is going to lift in the not-too-distant future, but until that time comes, I just want time to get myself together. Thank you for your concern and empathy as I try to deal with my situation.

One of our elders has a daughter who, when she was a regular pioneer, married a non-Witness, and then "faded" totally. (obviously, she lost her 'privilege')
Elder dad & Witness mother have always kept in regular social contact with the daughter and her family, so there is apparently absolutely no problem with just fading, as opposed to opening your big mouth and revealing why you don't want association!
There's a time to "keep quiet", and this is it!!!!!! (Proverbs 11:12; Ecclesiastes 3:7)
Trust no one with your reasons - especially not your Witness family members.

My wife just told me to move out...
by nolongerconfused inbecause of "religious" differences, she now wants me to move out and "separate"...i said what biblical grounds does she have for her request?.
she couldnt respond...she said she'd rather be beaten up by me than have an "apostate" in the house.... this org definitely encourages conditional love.... i don't know what to do...by the way, we dont have children.

Just two things I'd say to her if she was my wife;
Darling, I don't want you to jeopardise your relationship with Jehovah, so please, for all our sakes, read Ephesians 5:33. It says that a wife should have "deep respect" for her husband, or in Greek, "reverential fear". A wife should have a reverential fear of God's headship arrangement, not her husband. Was Esther not faithful to her husband the king? He wasn't one of God's Jewish nation.
I'm sorry if I've upset you with my doubts and questions - I just want to be certain that I really do have the truth. Please be patient with me! (while she's being 'patient', make token attendances now & then, because more and more GB inspired utterances are going to start affecting more and more Witnesses. Then she may want you to discuss what you know)

Notes from "Safeguard Your Conscience" Special Assembly Day
by WinstonSmith inrecently we had the 'privilege' of attending our local special assembly day.
the theme for this year was safeguard your conscience, and you guessed it, they looked up every reference to the word 'conscience' in the bible and then wrote a talk about each one.
it was most definitely a case of "pack your bags, we're going on a guilt trip.".

Then you can just highlight on your program, which talks made ludicrous/apostate/demonic utterances, in order for you to have an irrefutable reference to what was said on the instructions of the unscriptural, man-made Governing Body!

I Got disfellowshiped..wana die!
by Chichi89 ini jus got dissfellowshiped at th last week..i feel like dying..i attended th meetings yesterday and ita ws jus horrible..came back home in tears....... people i used to cal my friends nw cant look me in the eye..so heartbroken confused and giving up on life !.

Just remember that the apostle Paul was a very evil man before he got the real truth!! Why? Because he was blinded by the false teachings of his religious leaders in Judaism. Likewise, most of our brothers and sisters are following the 'traditions of men' like sheep, because their minds are blinded by literature. They do not examine the Bible for themselves because most of them are happy to be spoon-fed.
So, do the opposite to those who suddenly look down on you - keep your love for them, knowing that they are blind to the truth - being led by blind guides!

DYING TO PIONEER!
by The Searcher ini was talking with an elderly sister today, and she brought up the topic of pioneering in march & april.
she then mentioned the elderly brother who has an extremely serious condition who was used to explain to the congregation, how he would adjust to be able to get the pioneer hours in.
it became 100% clear to the sister (and probably others) that this brother could die by pushing himself so hard.. loving shepherds, prove it - don't sanction such ones to enrol for such a life-threatening exercise.

APOSTATE 'NEW LIGHT'?

) last weekend, the district overseer had us all read matthew 5:22, which in part says, "whoever addresses his brother with an unspeakable word of contempt will be accountable to the supreme court; whereas whoever says, you despicable fool!
will be liable to the fiery gehen na.".

As far as J.C.s go, I would cite the D.O and Matthew 5:22 and tell them that I won't be party to 'going beyond the things that written" and politely decline to send the J.C. to Gehenna!!!
